14 more illegal marriage gardens seized in Jaipur
Chief minister Raje had ordered a strict action against illegal marriage gardens following the Bharatpur tragedy.

Jaipur: Drive against illegal marriage gardens continued in Jaipur on Saturday and Sunday.
Jaipur Municipal Corporation seized 14 more marriage gardens that were running illegally. These marriage gardens were not registered with the civic body.
Some of the gardens that were seized are:
Ratnakar Watika – Hawa Mahal West Zone
Vijayvargiya Sewa Sadan – Hawa Mahal West Zone
Manbhar Palace – Sanganer Zone
Dungari House Garden – Tonk Road
Prem Paradise and Celebration – JLN Marg
Vrindawan Marriage Garden – Dadi Ka Phatak
Bhanwar Kunj Garden – Nadi Ka Phatak
Bhanwar Mahal Garden – Nadi Ka Phatak
PL Vatika – Charan Nadi bypass
Meena Paradise – Nangal Jaisa Bohara
Two marriage gardens paid registration fee following which they will be allowed to operate, JMC officials said.
As an estimate there are nearly 1100 marriage gardens in the city. Of them, only 583 are registered. Others are illegal.
Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje had ordered a strict action against illegal marriage gardens in the state following the Bharatpur tragedy. The government directed all local bodies and municipal corporation to launch a drive seize all illegal marriage halls and gardens. The government has asked districts to ensure the compliance and submit a report by June 10.
