13-year-old girl found hanging in school hostel’s storeroom
The girl was a class VII student. Family members allege murder.

Jaipur: A girl staying in the hostel of a missionary school in Dungarpur district was found hanging on Sunday. Her body was hanging from the ceiling of her hostel’s storeroom. While the hostel administration said the girl had committed suicide, the family members raised a suspicion saying that the girl was very good at studies and didn’t have suicidal tendencies.

The incident occurred at missionary hostel in Kamboia village in Dugarpur’s Seemalwara area.
The girl, identified as Priyanka Damor, was class VII students at the missionary school and had been staying at the hostel for the past seven years.
The police said that a post-mortem examination of the body had been conducted.
“We are awaiting the post-mortem report. Further investigation is going on,” said a police officer.
The police have handed over the body to family members after the post-mortem examination. They are also recording the statement of hostel staff and other girls.
